Not Ghana Take It: Madventures striving for social change through chocolate

  • NW Chocolate Festival Pier 91, Smith Cove Seattle, WA USA (map)

Akwaaba! (Ghanaian for you are welcome)  It is an honor and a thrill to participate as a speaker in a globally renown chocolate education program at the 2016 NW Chocolate Festival.

Come nerd out with me! Through tales of flat tires, illness, perseverance, and a brief history lesson, I will explore the topics of human rights and environmental disaster within one of the world's top cocoa producing regions.  A compassionate and resourceful discussion for anyone interested in learning about modern slavery, ethical cacao sourcing, or nonprofit organizations at a grassroots level.

See you there!
